I loved the illustrations. They had a real life feel. In some places I thought they were actually photos mixed with drawings.
The rhyming words convey a story of courage, determination, persistence and understanding. It’s a great lesson for children to learn. It’s also a creative addition to the Santa Claus story.

The story is about an elephant who heads up to the North Pole to ask Santa to be included in Christmas. Rhyming is fun for small children and helps with early literacy development. The illustrations are unique and lovely, if your child is a creative artist s/he will be inspired to experiment with techniques. Will make a nice gift for the nieces and nephews, something unique but also in the spirit of the holidays.

An absolutely adorable Christmas tale! Ania Danylo has a knack for rhyme and the illustrations are beautiful. Felix’s story is incredibly sweet and moving, making him a protagonist that children can easily relate to. I can certainly see this book in home Christmas collections and school libraries as it takes me back to when I was a child, myself, and reading holiday books as soon as the snow started falling.

It is no secret to any that I am a sucker for a good Christmas story.
This is a whimsical, beautifully illustrated tale that belies its true meaning - everyone just wants to fit in, and there is a place for everyone.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone - your children will love the story, and you yourself might just feel a little pang of longing for the magic of Christmas so familiar to you when you were younger.
